Seramx scissors combine craftsmanship and technology to create the ultimate surgical instrument. A high-tech ceramic hard coat is applied to provide unique benefits only with Seramx brand scissors. The increased surface hardness provides a barrier from scratches that could promote corrosion. The ceramic coating increases the cutting ability and is even harder than tungsten-carbide. The tungsten-carbide inserts are ground and honed to a scalpel type sharpness. Micro-serrations provide tissue stability during the cut. A precise, minimally traumatized cut is the result.
