Solid steel construction, industrial strength motors, and engineering make this a very stable and reliable chair.

An electro-mechanical drive system controls the chair height, recline, auto exit, and program position.  The Phoenix II chair reclines flat for minor surgical procedures, and the specially designed wings on the backrest comfortably hold the patient’s  arms at their sides.

The base provides a very stable foundation and its narrow design allows the stool to roll in close.  The permanent lubricated ball bearings allow for a smooth 360° rotation, with convenient lock releases located on both sides of the chair.

The chair starts low (22 inches)* for physicians that sit yet goes high enough (36 inches)* for physicians that stand, and with a patient lifting power of 350 lbs., no one is compromised.

*Seat height from floor.

The fully articulating headrest, standard on the Phoenix II, is designed for the needs of the Otolaryngology-Head and Neck surgeon.  This special headrest can also be positioned for pediatric patients.

The Phoenix II is equipped with special switch bezels that present the controls of the chair in such a position that they are always visible.
