“I recently upgraded from the JEDMED StroboCAM® to the StroboCAM® II. The original unit did a fine job with rigid telescopic exams, but there was simply not enough light sensitivity to consistently get good video with the flexible fiberoptic scope.
“The new unit has a more powerful light source that rivals xenon lamps and, when mated with the camera, produces excellent picture quality with both the rigid rod telescope and the fiberoptic endoscope. The foot pedal control is easier to use and more intuitive and the microphone is now integrated into the camera head.
“Lastly, the on-screen display shows both phonatory frequency and volume when the device is in stroboscopy mode. In my opinion, anyone looking for a laryngeal videostroboscope should really consider this unit.”
