Cleaning Guidelines

Proper disinfection of JEDMED medical equipment ensures patient safety, infection control, and product longevity. All surfaces require wiping with cold disinfecting solutions using disposable cloths.

Never allow solutions to remain longer than necessary. Test new disinfectants on inconspicuous areas first and follow manufacturer’s instructions. Observe universal precautions.

CHAIRS AND STOOLS (S-II, S-III, J-II, PHOENIX III, MICRO STOOLS, SURGICAL STOOLS):

Wipe patient contact areas thoroughly.

CABINETS (CSC, CLASSIC II, KD CART, MOBILE ENT CART, SENTRY CART):

Wipe all surfaces with a cold disinfecting solution.

MICROSCOPES:

Use disinfecting wipes on knobs and handles. For optical surfaces, remove dirt with a clean, dry hair brush (pre-cleaned in 70% alcohol).

Wipe lenses with a soft cotton cloth moistened in 70% alcohol in circular motions from center outward, then polish with a dry cotton cloth.
