Phoenix AXS Transfer Supports
U.S. Access Board Requirements:
Transfer supports must:
- Be positioned no more than 1.5 inches horizontally from the plane defined by the nearest edge of the transfer surface
- Provide support for transfers on each side of the transfer surface
- Have a minimum length of 15 inches
- Be positioned between 6 inches and 19 inches above the top of the associated uncompressed transfer surface during use
- Have a circular cross section with an outside diameter between 1.25 inches and 2 inches
- Feature a continuous gripping surface along their full length, free from obstructions on the top or sides
